Portable Solar Generator

Tired of all the noise and smell from your diesel generator? The Instapark SPCC-20W offers you a quiet, clean while carbon-free alternative. Capable of converting virtually unlimited solar energy into clean, green, most importantly, free electricity, the Instapark SPCC-20W includes a 20-Watt mono-crystalline solar panel with solar charge controller. This solar panel is made of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells embedded in transparent vinyl acetate behind tempered glass with heavy back sheet ensuring maintenance free performance. Unlike amorphous solar panels, which only last about 5-7 years of continuous use, mono-crystalline solar panels can still retain over 80% of efficiency even after 25 years of continuous use. Also, the mono-crystalline panels are much more efficient and thus smaller in size while producing higher wattage. This kit is designed and engineered to primarily charge 12-Volt batteries, which store and provide usable power when needed, ideal for powering your RVs, ATV, marine boats and electronic equipments. The included solar charge controller helps prevent any connected batteries from overcharging. Other than recreational applications, solar power can also help lower your energy bills by reducing your dependence on the main electrical grid and provide back-up power during power outages.

Good supplier By Alain , CANADA Verry good solar panel that include a USB outlet on the solar controler ( Not for I-phone or others electronics ). Work well on sunny or not sunny day. Nice to have a twelve feet wire, it will eliminate the outside connection. Very responsable supplier I had a problem with power of delivered pannel and they correct it promptly. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Need to De-rate for 12 volt Battery By Solar Powered USA. They may claim it to be a '20 watt' panel, but if you are to hook this up to a 12 volt battery, you will only get 15 watts, just so you realize it. Charging voltage is 13-14 volts times max amps of 1.17 equals 15.2-16.4 watts, minus ??? watts from power needed for the charger. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Solar Panel OK By Shawn H. I have not actually done all of the tests necessary to determine ifthe panel I received is putting out 20W in in full sunlight, but it does seem to be working. It does look different slightly from what is pictured withI would not trust the attached charger though. I have a feeling that it is "trickle draining" the battery at night. Also, it has a USB port built into the side - which has a warning on it not to use with sensitive electronic devices like the iPod and iPhone. I would just tape it up just to avoid blowing out your precious USB powered electronics.Of course, I have this hooked up to a 12V battery and a quality inverter. This panel is fine for maintaining one or two 12V batteries at full charge. It is not powerful enough of course for any type of continuous power draining applications.I bought it primarily as a battery charger. See all 5 customer reviews...

This product is a simple plug n play solar power kit. It comes with everything you need for portable power and all you have to do is plug the panel into the batterybox via 2 mc4 conectors that are male and female making it simple and quick. The package comes with a brand new 85 watt solar panel, brand new 30 ft of wire, and a xantrex xpower 1500. The xantrex xpower is brand new but, I have added a 7amp charge contoller and mc4 conectors inside the batterybox and I test it before repackaging to make sure everything is working. The 30 ft of wire make it easy to put the panel in the sun and the battery where you need it. Works great for remote areas without grid power, emergencies, camping, or whatever you need power for. The charge controller that you plug the wires from the panel into is built into the batterybox so even though you do not see it, it is working. The charge contoller has a built in diode so when the sun goes down, it goes down with it and does not drain your battery at night. The battery and the panel will ship seperately and may not arive on the same day. When you get the batterybox out of the box simply locate the 2 mc4 conectors in the back and plug your 30 ft of wire into the conectors, then conect the other end of the wire into the mc4 conectors on you panel and you are charging. Sorry not orders to Hawaii or Alaska.

Started out great then at exactly 20 hours the engine blew. Talking with the Vendor has been difficult, no resolution as yet. Could be stuck with a piece of junk. Read their limited warranty closely, appears there really isn't one. 13 of 18 people found the following review helpful. generator / great value By Robert C.
